It's only been just a week since its launch and Virginia Hayward, the luxury hamper company, has already won it's first award - the coveted Site of the Week from New Media Age. The site was judged on a number of parameters as shown below and the site inspector had great things to say about it.

The recent good weather has come at the perfect time for the relaunch of this hamper ordering service, which also supplies the likes of John Lewis and Selfridges. Content is fulsome, with not just posh picnic hampers but also flowers, wines, spirits and champagne, gift bundles and Duchy Originals.
All this is clearly accessible from the summery-coloured home page or grouped by occasion, product, recipient or price from drop-down menus.
The site is also liberally dotted with customer comments which lend it an intimate feel. Seeing what you're buying is crucial for these types of product, of course, and here images can be rolled over for a larger view, although a new window of the full image would be preferable to panning around a small frame. And surely 'My Basket' should be 'My Hamper'.
